Terms of service

The terms for using Afternoon. They are written to be read: short sections, plain words.

Last updated 12 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between Adam Jafer AB (organisation number 559442-4912), Styrmansgatan 5, 114 54 Stockholm, Sweden ("Afternoon", "we", "us") and the organisation that uses Afternoon ("the Customer", "you"), usually a real estate firm or office. If you use Afternoon at work, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation and confirm that you may do so.

If the Customer has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement applies first and these terms fill in anything it does not cover. Our privacy policy and the data processing agreement are part of these terms.

2. The service

Afternoon is an AI assistant for real estate agents. Connected to an agent's Microsoft 365 email and calendar, it sorts incoming email, drafts replies with a source for each fact, suggests and books meeting times, prepares listing texts and, when the agent asks, enters information into the agent's CRM. Everything that leaves Afternoon needs the agent's approval.

Some features may be offered as a pilot or preview. They are provided to try and give feedback on, and may change or end.

3. Accounts and access

4. You approve, and AI can be wrong

Afternoon uses AI. Drafts, summaries, suggested times and listing texts are suggestions. They can be incomplete or wrong, even though Afternoon checks facts against their sources and flags what it cannot verify.

The agent reviews and approves everything before it is sent, booked or entered, and the Customer remains responsible for what is sent in its name and for following the rules that apply to its business, including the Swedish Real Estate Agents Act (fastighetsmäklarlagen) and data protection law as the controller of its clients' data. Afternoon does not give legal, financial or valuation advice.

5. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not let others:

6. Your data

The Customer's data, including email, calendars, client details, documents and everything Afternoon writes for you, belongs to the Customer. We process it only to provide Afternoon, as set out in our data processing agreement and privacy policy. We never use it to train AI models.

We may use anonymous, aggregated statistics about how the service is used (for example how often drafts are sent unchanged) to run and improve Afternoon. These never identify a person or reveal anyone's content.

When the agreement ends, the data is deleted as described in the privacy policy. Agents can export their data at any time before then.

7. Other services

Afternoon works with services you choose, such as Microsoft 365 and your CRM. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make that affect Afternoon. We use sub-processors to run Afternoon; they are listed in the privacy policy.

8. Fees

Fees, if any, are agreed with the Customer in writing. A pilot is free unless otherwise agreed. Prices exclude VAT.

9. Intellectual property

We own Afternoon, including its software, design and the know-how behind it. You get the right to use it for your business while the agreement lasts. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely to improve Afternoon.

10. Confidentiality

Each party keeps the other's confidential information confidential and uses it only for this agreement, during the agreement and for three years after. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, independently developed, or that must be disclosed by law.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep Afternoon available and secure, and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, particularly during a pilot. We may improve and change the service; if a change significantly reduces what Afternoon does for you, we tell you in advance.

12. Warranties and liability

Afternoon is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond what these terms say, including that the AI's output will be accurate or fit a particular purpose.

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data that could have been restored from the Customer's own systems. Each party's total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees the Customer paid in the twelve months before the claim, or SEK 10,000 if no fees were paid.

These limits do not apply to loss caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or where the law does not allow them. Liability for personal data is governed by the data processing agreement and the GDPR.

13. Suspension and termination

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are settled by the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the first instance, unless the parties agree otherwise.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We tell Customers about material changes at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use Afternoon after that means accepting them. The date at the top shows the latest version.
